20mins each morning, not a good start to the year on these ones.

As usual 20mins spent on each, every morning before i get stuck into work.

Fan art of what has to be my favourite comic book to date. The Marquis: Inferno. After doing some speed paints of the character i felt like doing something a bit more thought out. My buddy Henrik took up the challenge as well: http://henriksahlstrom.wordpress.com/2011/12/21/first-post-and-some-marquis-fan-art/

The Marquis is a creater owened character by Guy Davis and this is in no way endorsed by him: http://www.guydavisartworks.com/

So thanks for the awesome read Guy!

Slowly, this is an old weapon one i did. Its a flamethrower, Johnny Cash inspired the Ring of fire at the front that the liquid passes through.

20mins on each, each morning. I have posted the first one before in the last batch, opps. Little avatar-esque speedpaints in there as well.

Little Monkey King comic strip for fun. I didnt think of any story, rather just painted stuff.

20mins as usual:

My all time favourite comic is The Marquis by Guy davis, brilliantly written and illustrated. I decided to do some of my morning speeds within his universe. So here’s some fan art speeds.

20mins on each as usual

Been looking at his toys lately and wish I could afford them. 20mins on each as usual.

not in the mind set for these lately.

Sometime ago I was approached by ImagineFX to do a workshop on my process of painting a creepy astronaut. So if you like that kind of thing, go grab the mag. Heres the image I did.

I usually do something in this IP at least once a year, to remind myself of being a kid. After playing the latest game, Spacemarine, me and a buddy decided to do some fan art, my crappy attempt:

If you like you can check out the process of this image here: http://bradwright.deviantart.com/art/Spacemarine-fanart-Process-264336846

The usual stuff, 20 mins in the morning when i get to work, warm up etc. Hasn’t been a good couple of weeks on the Speedpainting front, Two steps forward, thrown back a mile.

I just noticed on the Syndicate website they had a piece of concept art I did. Nothing special but its the only thing I’ve done in four years professionally that i can show.

No idea why they chose to release this image, its nothing exciting, just the underside of a landing pad thing.

Me and my buddy Henrik were chatting over the new Dredd movie and it urged us to do a Dredd image. I dont think Dredd needs to be redesigned at all, but i wanted to take a little from classic Dredd and a little from Karl Urban Dredd to do my little ‘redesign’.

I kept the 80s disco colours which i love in the comics. He’s joined by my favourite Judge, Judge Anderson and of course Mean Machine.

Here is Henriks awesome Classic Dredd http://bumhand.deviantart.com/art/Judge-Dredd-261483799

Trailer for the game I been Concepting.

For those which follow this blog, you will be aware of my morning ritual of 20min Speedpaints. We decided in the office to make Fridays a little different, and do 20min comic strips. So 20mins on each strip(3panels).

Its a little dumb story of a guy waking up in the future with a cyborg body and the ability to kill stuff.

ANTIBODY: The hunt for Antigen.

What I’ve spent the last number of years working in Sweden on ( other than Riddick).

Good to be able to speak out about it, its been a blast.

The official Website has just been launched http://www.ea.com/syndicate

I seen this image on EA facebook page so i guess its good to show here. An image I painted over in game models

Here’s an article with some screenshot and info about Syndicate http://kotaku.com/5839190/first-screenshots-official-info-from-the-new-syndicate/gallery/1

and just for fun, i designed this little thing, dont think i can say anything more about it though http://cache.kotaku.com/assets/images/9/2011/09/xlarge_syndicate08.jpg

Exciting day!

Same M.O, 20mins in the morning before I start work. I can kinda excuse the crappyness of this batch, as i did learn a lot and experimented more this time round.

I seen cooler more talented people do this, so here is some panels from my comic. Some changes will be made but what the hell.

I’ve decided to quite using multiple blogs for my projects and stick to just theĀ  main one, and use tags to make the comic stuff easier to find instead. Is this a bad idea?
